AMA Educators' Conferences
The AMA sponsors two general conferences for marketing educators, one in the
Summer and one in the Winter. At these conferences, there are sessions at which
papers of market research interest will be presented. For updated conference
information, see the AMA website.
Marketing Research Tracks and Special Sessions
The AMA welcomes papers and special session proposals that deal with
innovative methods in marketing research and data analysis, or that
improve our understanding of existing methods. Papers may focus
on advancing the state of the art of marketing research methodology
and/or demonstrate the benefits of these advances for the analysis
of substantive marketing issues. Topics may include, but are not
limited to, the following: methods of analyzing or presenting marketing
data, measurement methods for marketing, marketing information systems
and the use of information within organizations, and mathematical
models of marketing phenomena. Papers and special session proposals
in the areas of international marketing research and Internet marketing
research are particularly encouraged. Conceptual, empirical, analytical,
simulation-based, and qualitative approaches are welcome.
